Photography and travel go hand-in-hand for me.

I’d be remiss not to talk about my travels while talking about my photography. I bought a secondhand Nikon D50 (my first SLR!) in 2006 when I was travelling to China for an entire summer and wanted a way to document my travels, as most social media outlets (yes, even the ones back then -- like Blogspot) were blocked. I collected thousands of photos that summer. I learned that I love taking photos of landscapes. I love capturing the relationship between space, color, and shapes, be it through an interesting angle or every day objects. Photography has always been my anchor for the literal journeys I’ve taken and my way of sharing adventures with others.
